I hope you're enjoying the beginning of autumn! This month, I want to share some really good news, and tell you about one of the reasons I'm so proud to be part of the Baird & Warner team.

For the past 15 years, our Baird & Warner Good Will Network charitable arm has been working to make a difference in communities like yours across Chicagoland. From hosting local food and clothing drives to annual fundraising events for neighborhood schools and nonprofits, we're always looking for ways Baird & Warner can make a positive impact by sharing the good.

Results of Our $24K of Solid Good Drive
As Baird & Warner agents, we love making homeownership easier for our clients, and we also love that our Good Will Network makes it easier for us to give back. That's why, once a year, we nominate dozens of nonprofits for large grants that we hope will help give those in need — especially women and children at risk of homelessness — a safe place to lay their heads.

The agents at our 29 offices across Chicagoland are passionate about the organizations they nominated. Some of us know them and their work personally, and we were all very excited to see which of them won grants in this year's $24K of Solid Good drive. After the public voted on the nominees last month, the Good Will Network announced the five organizations that each won $24,000, for a total of $120,000!

If you voted in the $24K of Solid Good initiative, thank you so much! Each of the 22,000 votes made a difference.

Looking Ahead
By the end of 2017, the Good Will Network will have donated an estimated $200,000, and more than $2.2 million since it was founded in 2002, to dozens of charities. We're already looking forward to spreading even more goodwill next year, and helping make Chicagoland a better place to live and work.

Making Homeownership Easier
